A Kinsey Institute researcher, Justin Lehmiller surveyed a tonne (4,175) of people about their kinks, and this lil listicle is based on that research. Rather upsettingly, about half of it has been broken down into “male” and “female” and there is nothing about non-binary folx. Like c’mon Justin. It’s not that hard.
1. Multiple Sex Partners
It seems the majority of people fantasise about some kind of sex involving other people, which like, duh and or yes.
89% fantasised about threesomes, the “configuration” of the threesome wasn’t specified.
74% fantasised about orgies – cue eyes wide shut
61% fantasised about gang bangs – cue my dreams
66% of men and 45% of women fantasised about swinging or partner swapping – cue my future

2. BDSM
The type of BDSM in the report wasn’t exactly specified so I am assuming it is including the full spectrum from light sensory play, blindfolds and ticklers, to more intense bondage or humiliation. 65% of men & 66% of women have fantasised about some kind of BDSM. Like… BDSM is amazing sooo... Yeh.
3. Feet
One in 7 people in the US report a fantasy where feet or toes are prominent. This does not surprise me in the slightest. And that is “prominent”, I don’t think that includes all the people who are like “nah I’m not really into feet” but then you look away for two seconds and they are all of a sudden sucking on your big toe… my ex. And also me I guess. You know I am in love if I am sucking their toes.

4. Voyeurism & Exhibitionism
I lumped these together because they are on either end of the same scope, I also want to note that it was specified in the report about consensual and non-consensual participants of voyeurism and exhibitionism, these are the numbers for fantasies where all parties, whether watching or being watching, are consensual participants.
60% fantasized about watching someone else undress or have sex – voyeurism.
42% fantasized about publicly exposing themselves or having sex in front of an audience – exhibitionism.
5. Body Fluids
I didn’t dive too deeply into these because spit and vomit and blood can make me feel queasy and at the time of writing this I was starting to feel the quease. So, I am sorry about that.
45% of men and 35% of women have fantasies including spit.
31% of males and 14% of women had a fantasy including breast milk.
32% of males and 15% of women had a fantasy including urine.
