Happy New Year
Happy new year friends!
I was just in the shower and decided I wanted to kick off the year with a little hello post… sorry, that’s a lie... I actually decided I couldn’t kick off the year with a post about smegma and therefore had to write a hello post.
After I came to that conclusion this was my thought process…
What could I talk about?
What I achieved in 2020 and how I hope to continue that in 2021?
Ha and what was that? How I was on my way and then Instagram disabled me and in 2021 I have to basically start from scratch?Maybe I should write about censorship on social media platforms and how we’re basically going back in time with some things re: sex education
A …step… back… in time
…
Non stop dancing the haa stop to the funkay music music music
Ha na na na na la la something on the booGIE
Remember the olddd dayyys old days
Remember the old wayyyyyy-AYYYYS
Walkin in rhyyyythhhaaaaaaam hyyythaaammm
Ha na na hee neeeaaaayy
WHEN YOU CAN’T FIND THE MUSIC
TO GET DOWN AND BOOGIE
ALL YOU CAN DO IS
STEP BACK IN TIME
Two hours later, I still have Kylie stuck in my head and no I did not google the lyrics. I remember those from primary school when we did a musical about a time machine and as pre-musical entertainment, we did a dance to, you guessed it, Kylie Minogue’s Step Back In Time. I also remember as like, pre pre-musical entertainment entertainment, the year 4 class played Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On on recorders for some reason… no singing, just recorders. What I wouldn’t give to be a fly on the wall at that performance.
So anyway, I guess I landed somewhere about here
In 2020;
- I got some closure on two past relationships
- I formed some new friendships
- I nourished some old ones
- I found two things that I really love to do, yes that’s you Sex Talk, you beautiful bitch AND counselling!
- I got paid to masturbate… twice
- I did a breathwork class that changed my life
- Lots of therapy, lots of laughing, lots of crying, hit some personal milestones annnddd some other shit that’s none of your business
And OWEN FUCKING GREY RE-TWEETED MY TIKTOK
OH! I also had wasabi peas for the first time! How frigen good are wasabi peas?!?!
In 2021 I hope to;
- Continue my journey of self-actualisation
- Continue my studies to become a certified counsellor (so I have a certificate to say people should listen to me)
- Keep up the bonds of friendship and remind all of the beautiful people in my life how much light their very existence brings to the world
- Have a better schedule (so Virgo) to create a healthier balance of work/study/STWJ/rest-filling my cup – edit, to not put so much pressure on myself to be productive…
- Keep writing about the crazy antics of my pussy
Aaannnnnd some other shit that’s none of your business
I do have some really exciting stuff in the pipeline and I can’t wait to see these things come to fruition and share them with you!!! Eeeeeeeeeeee
Ok is this sufficient? Because now I am literally just procrastinating posting about smegma.
Edit – I wrote this before the storming of the Capitol building… yet more proof that systematic racism is alive and well. Our social, political and legal systems need to be abolished. We need to break everything down and start again.
I’d like to remind everyone of the 437 Indigenous Australian lives lost in custody between 1991 to 2020, and the 7,666 lives lost at the hands of the police in the US between 2014 to 2019.
Finally, I would like to list the names of some of the transgender and gender non-conforming folx that lost their lives in 2020. Ages listed where reported.
